
Ensure that you have the latest version of the ABC iview app and that both devices are on the same Wi-fi network.If the Chromecast cast icon isn’t showing in the ABC iview app: To disconnect from Chromecast, tap the Chromecast icon on your mobile device and select Stop casting.Don't forget you can continue to browse the app or use your device even while you cast.You can now use the ABC iview app on your mobile/tablet as a TV remote, with the play, pause and closed captions features all at your fingertips. Select any program from your mobile or tablet to watch and it will begin casting to your TV screen.Once connected, your TV screen should show you a screen saying that ABC iview is ready to cast. Tap the Google Cast icon and select the name of the device you want to cast to.The app will detect the Chromecast device and display a Google Cast icon in the top right corner of the app. Open the ABC iview app on your mobile or tablet.Ensure the device you want to cast from (mobile/tablet) is on the same Wi-fi network as the one on your TV.Select the HDMI input on your TV and Chromecast should appear displaying your connected network in the bottom left corner of your TV screen.Chromecast also needs a power source connected to it via a USB cable.Ensure your Chromecast device is plugged into an HDMI port on your TV and your TV is turned on.
